‘GO Quito Artisan’ is the fair that unites art, sustainability and community in one place

It opened its doors last July and has been going ever since GO Quito Hotel has not stopped upholding its commitment to sustainability and social responsibilityand thus affects four fundamental sectors: the environment, the socio-economic sector, the cultural-artistic sector and tourism.

Go Quito Hotel opened its doors and combines a contemporary style with the Andean style of the capital

This accommodation space has 17 floors with 151 floors suites And cages which have a unique contemporary design completely inspired by the culture and nature of the Andes of our country, in addition to three restaurants with different concepts and rooms for events.

For this reason the hotel presents GA Quito Artisan, a proposal full of art, design and gastronomywhich aims to promote and stimulate the local economy through businesses of artisans, creatives and micro-entrepreneurs, who will offer their products this Saturday, December 16, in the outdoor facilities of the place located on Av. Eloy Alfaro and Catalina de Aldaz.

Because the event is not only a meeting place for Ecuadorians, it also aims to attract the attention of international tourists.

José Luis Morejongeneral manager of the hotel, says this fair is part of Go Quito’s initiatives towards true sustainability practices.

“GO Quito Artisan was developed for the Quito festivals. We started on December 2 and will end on December 16 with the last delivery of the year,” he says.

What services do the new GO Quito Hotel and GO Galapagos cruises offer?

They are approx 25 and 35 micro-entrepreneurs who, having been selected through a rigorous process to ensure a diversity of categories is present, will take part in this opportunity from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Morejón adds that it is a free appointment to attend with family or friends, and they will try to implement it every month on a recurring basis as part of activities that unite the hotel and the community.
