Why you should watch “Night Agent”, Netflix’s most watched series according to a report that reveals all the details of the platform’s productions

Netflix has revealed its biggest treasure of the year. The streaming platform has shared an unpublished list of all its star productions for 2023, revealing which were the public’s favorites, at least until June of this year, the period covered by the report. The series that received the title of the most praised is “Night agent“.

According to the Xataka portal, the report published by the platform aggregates data from the entire semester of hours watched by users and is entitled “What we saw”; in English, “What we watched“.

This would be a new way for the entertainment company to transparently reach its audience. The list is in Excel format and can be downloaded for anyone who wants to view it.

“Night Agent” as the best Netflix series

Netflix has positioned “Night Agent” as its number one series, crediting it with 812,100,000 hours watched since its launch in March 2023. Below it are “Ginny and Georgia,” with 665 million accumulated hours; and “The Glory: Season 1″, with approximately 622 million.

This list includes 18,000 titles, 99% of which is self-produced, reports El Mundo.

What is “Night Agent” about?

“Night Agent” is an action series based on the fictional novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk. As El Imparcial reports, the plot centers on government conspiracies and espionage. Its protagonist, Gabriel Bassoplays an FBI agent named Peter, a brave servant of society.

Its cast, performances and action sequences would be the three factors that made it the most watched series.

The story begins to gain momentum when this man answers an emergency call and becomes embroiled in a deadly conspiracy involving an infiltrator in the White House.

The cast also includes Luciane Buchanan, Sarah Desjardins, Eve Harlow, Hong Chau and DB Woodside. Have 10 chapters of between 45 and 56 minutesand is hosted by Shawn Ryan, known for the series “SWAT”, available on Star+, and “The Shield”. (AND)
