‘Ducks!’: Join the Mallard family on their big adventure to their new home

Keep enjoying the safety of the same place you’ve lived all your life oago to new destinations. That’s the dilemma wild duck familythe main characters of the animated film Ducks! (Migrationin English), which will premiere in Ecuador this Thursday, December 14.

Heading south for the winter, their plans will (of course) fall apart, but the experience will inspire them to broaden their horizons, open up to new friends and achieve more than they ever thought possible, as they learned more about others and about themselves.

The new animated characters are the creation of Reliefthe study behind it The Super Mario Bros. Movie (nominated for the Golden Globe for Best Animated Feature) and My favorite villain.

In English, Kumail Nanjiani (Eternals) lends his voice to the fearful Mallard Duck Mack, the father of the family; and the actress, director and producer Elisabeth Banks (Hunger Games, perfect pitch) is Pam, the sassy and resourceful matriarch of the Mallards.

Caspar Jennings (to sing) is the voice behind it Dax, the Mallards’ confident and restless son; and make his film debut we have Tresi Gazalwho voices the English voice of Gwen, the innocent and adorable daughter of the family.

Mike Whitecreator of the popular HBO series The white lotus and comedy screenwriter rock school (2003), is the mastermind behind the script together with the acclaimed French director Benjamin Renner.

“When I first saw Benjamin’s work, especially his direction of Ernest & CelestineI felt an immediate connection to his vision,” said Meledandri. “He finds unique ways to express moving, funny and intelligent moments in film.. His work is visually stunning and, perhaps most importantly, His characters have an innate sweetness. And it turns out he shares our love for ducks”.
