Dariusz Prosiecki, a former reporter of “Fakty”, was also supposed to receive an offer to join TVP. The journalist rejected this possibility. Since June 2022, he has been the director of the marketing and communication department in the employer organization Employers of Poland and has no plans to return to the media for now.

“I am a big supporter of my colleagues who will create public media and introduce freedom of speech there,” Prosiecki was reported to have said and thanked for the proposal. Previously, the journalist also worked at RMF FM and Radio Zet. In “Facts” he reported on, among others, the war in Iraq, Afghanistan, Georgia and Kosovo.

Personnel changes at Telewizja Polska were visible even before Donald Tusk took over as prime minister. Danuta Holecka and “Wiadomości” reporters Karol Jałtuszewski and Damian Diaz said goodbye to the station. Publisher Przemysław Wenerski also resigned.
