Anna Tsareva from Putin’s favorite daily is dead

Anna Tsareva’s body was found in her Moscow apartment by her parents, who were concerned that their daughter had not spoken to them for some time. Earlier, she had complained about a high temperature and said she felt bad. Investigators are investigating the death of a 35-year-old woman. So far, no signs of a struggle have been found, but the direct cause of death has not yet been determined. The latest information is about a sudden cardiac arrest as a result of a viral infection that attacked Tsareva a few days earlier.

Anna Carewa died a year after her boss. In September 2022, Komsomolskaya Pravda lost its long-time editor-in-chief, Vladimir Sungorkin. The media was then informed that the man had died of a stroke, but his death was unofficially included in a long list of unexplained deaths in Putin’s entourage.

Anna Carewa was responsible for the newspaper’s online edition. It was supposed to specialize in materials about a special military operation, as Vladimir Putin called the war in Ukraine. “Komsomolskaya Pravda” is supposed to be the dictator’s favorite newspaper.
