The evening program of TVP Info began with a discussion about the shameful behavior of Confederation MP Grzegorz Braun, who interrupted the Hanukkah celebrations in the Sejm on Wednesday. He then grabbed the fire extinguisher and extinguished the Hanukkah candles. Earlier, he sprayed a fire extinguisher in the face of MP Magdalena Gudzińska-Adamczyk, who tried to stop him.

It could have started calmly, but Holecka didn’t refrain from making insults

One of her guests, Senator Kazimierz Kleina from the Civic Coalition, also criticized his behavior. The senator’s reaction to her words was immediate. He said that Grzegorz Braun’s attitude is “embarrassing to all of us, regardless of our beliefs and denominations.” – Such behavior is indefensible – he emphasized. However, Danuta Holecka is known for having an answer for everything:

When MP Braun stood and criticized Marshal Witek, I didn’t see any protests from the opposition, she said.

– Your editor suggests that the parliamentary majority is responsible for Mr. Braun’s behavior? – admitted Kleina, to which Holecka reacted by saying that she was not suggesting anything, but only asking. There may be a suggestion in the question, the senator replied. Apart from him, Krzysztof Kukucki, a senator from the Left, also sat in the studio, and PiS MPs Daniel Milewski and Jan Kanthak joined the studio from the Sejm.

Holecka compared Braun’s behavior to the protest of a Left MP. “But what are you telling me?”

However, this was only the beginning of opportunities for national media workers. Holecka then tried to compare Braun’s behavior to that of Joanna Scheuring-Wielgus from the Left, who entered the church with a banner to protest against the then-notorious pedophilia scandal. Senator Kukucki immediately protested, saying that these two situations cannot be compared. Nervous Holecka had a different opinion on this matter:

Holecka also often interrupted MPs of the October 15 Coalition with her comments, and even passed the floor to the Sejm in the middle of a sentence, not allowing them to complete the meaning of their statement. – Editor, are you running this program? Later in the program, Law and Justice MP Daniel Milewski repeatedly used the phrase “your coalition of eight stars”, referring to an offensive slogan often uttered by participants of anti-government protests.
