The whole of Poland heard about Dawid Podsiadlo in 2012, when he took part in the 2nd edition of the “X Factor” program. The singer from Dąbrowa Górnicza won the program and the following year he released his debut album entitled “Comfort and Happiness”.
Since then, the artist has become one of the most important musicians of the young generation. Podsiadło has won prestigious music awards, performs at the largest music festivals, and plays concerts in stadiums, where tickets sell out in no time!
“mori” from Dawid Podsiadły is one of his greatest hits
The artist’s last greatest hit is the song “mori”, which was included on the artist’s latest album titled “Twenties”. Initially, the song wasn’t supposed to be a single at all, but the musician’s fans started listening to it so eagerly on the Internet that they decided to send it to the radio and shoot a music video.
Listeners appreciated it primarily for its deep lyrics. Under the clip, which has already collected 30 million views, we can come across many comments that prove this. “It’s not an art to listen to this song. The art is to listen to it and not cry…”, “David, I’m 47 years old and this song makes me roar like a beaver…” – we read. Under the music video we can also find comments from Internet users from all over the world:
I don’t speak Polish, but my Lord, you are an amazing artist. I came here from “Cyberpunk”, I love your work – writes one of the YouTube users.
The song is also heard abroad. One of the YouTubers tried to review it
The creator with the pseudonym @Alexal_PT decided to share his reaction to this popular song by Podsiadły. Interestingly, he had previously published ratings of the artist’s other works on his channel. At the very beginning, the YouTuber admitted that this song is completely different from his previous compositions.
The entire recording lasts over six minutes and for most of its duration we see the man listening to the song. During this he tried to translate the lyrics of the song, which he had some problems with. Despite this, he said that he did not understand the words of the song, but he still guessed that the artist was discussing difficult topics in it. When he managed to check the translation, he admitted that he “still didn’t understand the concept” and guessed that the song was about longing. However, in the end he liked the song.
