Ewa Drzyzga is famous for her exceptional empathy, which she showed over the years of working at TVN. During the last edition of “Dzieñ Dobry TVN” she also expressed this. Her guest surprised the breakfast show host so much that she couldn’t hide her tears of emotion.

“Dzień Dobry TVN” is a “breakfast program” broadcast live, which favors spontaneity and non-standard situations. The iconic pair of hosts, Dorota Wellman and Marcin Prokop, is already famous for them, but the relatively new one is Ewa Drzyzga and Krzysztof Skórzyński. Not so long ago, the journalist came to Drzyzga’s aid with a handkerchief when she couldn’t hold back tears of emotion. This time she also gave vent to her emotions. Recently in the recording studio at ul. Marszałkowska in Warsaw hosted the newly sworn Ombudsman for Children, Monika Horna-Cieślak. She was interviewed by the Drzyzga – Skórzyński duo, during which she talked about the reasons why she decided to devote her life to helping the youngest.

It also turned out that Horna-Cieślak was a fan of Drzyzga’s program “Conversations in progress” in the past. This includes: thanks to it, she learned about the scale of problems among children and forced her to think. She turned these into a plan that she continues to implement today as part of her professional work, and the program was one of her signposts. At one point, she directly addressed the breakfast host.

When I was 14 and watched “Conversations in Progress”, it was said that children in Poland were struggling with serious problems and that’s how it all started, thank you for stimulating my disagreement with the fact that children experience such harm, it aroused youthful rebellion in me.

It was difficult for the journalist to contain her surprise and emotion and she burst into tears. Although Drzyzga thanked the Children’s Ombudsman for the beautiful words, she emphasized that the words of appreciation were due primarily to the youngest guests of her program who had the courage to share their stories with viewers.
