Damięcki says goodbye to the departing government in a poem. “They’re finally leaving. On the shield”

Mateusz Damiêcki never avoided political topics and often spoke out about them. This time he decided to express his joy over the fall of Mateusz Morawiecki’s government, which he expressed on his Instagram profile. He did it in a truly artistic style.

Monday, November 11, turned out to be a special day in the history of Polish parliamentarism. A prime minister was elected for the first time in the second constitutional step. Mateusz Morawiecki did not receive a vote of confidence in the chamber from the parliamentary majority, which appointed Donald Tusk as the head of the Council of Ministers and entrusted him with the mission of forming a new government. Mateusz Damiêcki did not hide his joy and decided to express it on his social media. You will find more interesting texts on the home page.

Criticism through creativity. Support of artists

The actor repeatedly expressed his political sympathies, and these were very far from the values presented by Law and Justice politicians. Together with most of the artistic community, he criticized the politicization of courts, anti-EU rhetoric and the tightening of abortion law by the United Right government. He immortalized his joy at the collapse of Mateusz Morawiecki’s cabinet in a recording in which he presents his melorecitation skills. The actor is already known for presenting reality through creativity.

For contempt, for pride, for lack of class, they finally leave. On the dial. What it will be like now, I don’t know, no one knows. I know what it won’t be like. Enough.

– Damięcki shared the poem on his Instagram profile.

The video was liked not only by his fans, but also by many other artists. Support for the actor’s words was expressed by, among others: Magdalena Schejbal, Michał Żebrowski, Joanna Opozda and Marta Żmuda-Trzebiatowska. There were also expressions of support from Piotr Zelt, who is one of the most active opponents of the actions taken by the United Right over the last 8 years.

That’s not the first time. He demanded an apology from Kaczyński

Mateusz Damięcki’s previous poem resonated even more when he decided to share it in 2020. In addition to summarizing the politicians’ actions, PiS also demanded an apology from Jarosław Kaczyński for the words that he and his son felt offended by. As you can guess, he didn’t live to see them.

Thank you for your contempt, for your pride, for your venom and for the silent sentences passed on the night of death, then signed in the morning with Adrian’s pen, although not read. For my shame before the West, for roulette with the East, for sponsoring the conspiracy theory, for these treacherous murders and Soviet graves, for rewriting history.

– the actor wrote three years ago.
