Mateusz Morawiecki did not receive a vote of confidence in the chamber from the parliamentary majority, which appointed Donald Tusk as the head of the Council of Ministers and entrusted him with the mission of forming a new government. Together with most of the artistic community, he criticized the politicization of courts, anti-EU rhetoric and the tightening of abortion law by the United Right government.
