Michał Adamczyk starts filing lawsuits
According to Wirtualne Media, a private lawsuit has already been received by the author of the article about Michał Adamczyk, former Onet journalist (currently in the Iberion group), Mateusz Byczyński. However, he claims that the accusations Adamczyk brings against him are groundless. Byczyński’s text was based on materials provided by the court. Michał Adamczyk was accused over 20 years ago of beating and threatening his lover, and the court stated that his “guilt and perpetrators” were beyond doubt. The case was conditionally discontinued, but a payment was ordered to a foundation helping victims of violence.
In September, Micha³ Adamczyk wrote in a statement that “Onet brutally entered his private sphere and attacked his loved ones.” In addition to the lawsuit against the author of the text, Adamczyk also announced additional actions against Onet itself and Karolina Pajączkowska, who accused him of mobbing at TVP.
Shortly after Adamczyk’s statement, the journalist admitted that she had recordings and e-mails with his participation. In one of them, addressed to the president of TVP, Mateusz Matyszkowicz, she wrote that she was “the subject of harassment and behavior that constitutes mobbing.” On Twitter, she clarified that she was talking about Michał Adamczyk:
I will officially ask the president why he did not respond to my e-mail that I sent in May, in which I informed him what kind of person Mr. Michał A. is and what he did to me – we read on X.
Wirtualne Media informs that Pajączkowska and Onet have not yet received any lawsuits from Michał Adamczyk.
