Presenter and influencer Chiky Bombom has stepped strongly into the world of entertainment, and details from her intimate life are beginning to come to light.
In a recent interview with the program Anetteando, the Dominican woman revealed the deep depression she experienced when her husband was imprisoned 14 years ago.
This is Cartier, Chiky Bombom’s 13-year-old son whom she is raising as a single mother while her husband serves a 20-year prison sentence.
Some of the Telemundo star’s revelations have exposed the dangerous extreme she went to after she was forced to separate from her partner. As he told, he even planned how to end his life and the life of his son Cartier.

Why is Chiky Bombom’s husband imprisoned?
During the aforementioned interview, Chiky Bombom explained how her husband ended up in prison because of his relationship with drugs in his youth. While he did not specify what crime the man in question committed, he shared, “In the United States, it can take 700 years and if you committed a crime, you have to pay.”

After admitting the above, Chiky also spoke about how she went through motherhood alone. Part of his story read: “I was going through depression to the point where I was planning my death and the death of my son. It was the darkest moment in my life (…) I had to explain to the child that his father was in prison because I took him to prison to see him.”
