After nine years, the stages will become contaminated again Christmas madness, by Gabriel Gallardo. The comedy, written and directed by the artist, will perform twice on the stages of the Salesian Polytechnic University.

Laughter and fun are guaranteed in this play with seven characters. This madness follows Marcelo, a disillusioned man man who lives under pressure from his family. One day he faces a dilemma when, unintentionally, Share your company’s Christmas bonus with your employee. To solve this, he plans a heist that takes an unexpected turn and will turn everything and everyone upside down.

“People will find a hilarious, very funny work, whose strong point is white humor, innocent humor, I would say (…) it is a cartoonish comedy”says Gallardo, who cites Chespirito as a reference for this work.

“It also has a social grievance about how Christmas is experienced, how the real meaning of the dates has been lost.”“, how it has been trivialized or excessively commercialized…”, the actor indicates.

This play was last performed in 2014, just when the director himself had indicated that he would no longer perform it. But the nostalgia and dedication of his ‘boys’ (cast) was stronger and they decided to bring back to the stage a story that Gallardo recorded in his school days.

“When I escaped from recess, I wanted to lock myself in a classroom to write the first lines of the play. From there it is born, as one scect of 20 minutes. With all the nerves and with the greatest shame in the world, I presented it for the first time,” he recalls that time that ended with a positive reception from the audience.
