There is a media storm surrounding the so-called “list of layoffs” published on Thursday on the Plotek.pl website. Based on information from two independent sources, the website determined that Ida Nowakowska, Magdalena Ogórek, Małgorzata Opczowska, and Jacek Łęski would soon say goodbye to their jobs. The presenters strongly deny any reports of dismissal. When asked to comment on this matter, Małgorzata Opczowska said: “I don’t know anything about it. Pudelek also asked Ida Nowakowska for her opinion, who said that the reports about dismissals from TVP are only an attempt to destabilize public television: “I don’t plan (to leave) and no one has such plans. Such rumors are just an attempt to destabilize TVP.” Onet also managed to contact Tomasz Wolny, who spoke directly about the list circulating on the Internet: “I don’t know where this information comes from, because it’s the first I’ve heard of it. I deny it.”
