Cabarets from Neo-Nówka have recently finished their foreign tour. To rest, they decided to visit a German city, where an unpleasant situation awaited them at the airport. The whole thing was documented by Roman ¯urek, who shared the story in an extensive post on Instagram.

The beginnings of the Neo-Nówka cabaret in Wrocław date back to 2000, when Roman Żurek and his fellow students decided to entertain the audience. Currently, apart from the co-founder, the cabaret includes Michał Gawliński (since 2001) and Radosław Bielecki (since 2008).

Neo-Nówka gained enormous popularity in 2003, when it won the second prize at the PaKA festival. Since then, he has been performing regularly all over Poland, and cabaret performers are busy almost every weekend. For some time now, they have also been presenting their performances abroad.

They gave a series of performances in Germany. After all, they found themselves in a sad situation

Recently, the cabaret performers went on tour around Germany, and judging by the Internet users’ comments under their posts, it was really great fun. However, at the end of the trip, an unpleasant surprise awaited them. The whole situation was described by Roman Żurek under photos from snowy Munich.

“When, after performances in Bochum, Frankfurt and Stuttgart, you and your friends decide to go to Munich and the airport is closed. It wasn’t easy to come back, but here we are. It was an adventure, but it was worth it. The performances and the atmosphere were great. We will come back there again,” said the founder. Neo-Nówki.

All those who would like to see Neo-Nowka live soon will have to wait a while. Their performances will not start until February 2024, and tickets are already on sale. Moreover, the entire next year promises to be busy for Neo-Nówka. The group will perform almost every weekend until April, giving up to two shows a day.

Interestingly, Roman Żurek will also perform a solo program again. “I observe, appreciate and feel moved by the sight of so many people at performances, both the big ones with Neo-Nówka and the smaller, solo ones, my own. I am grateful. It’s a real pleasure to be able to make you laugh. Thanks for being here,” the founder of the cabaret reported some time ago .
