“I won’t leave her”: Victoria Ruffo’s husband reacts to divorce rumors and defends his 22-year marriage to the actress

Victoria Ruffo’s clarification was apparently not enough to stop rumors of a divorce with her husband Omar Fayad, with whom she has been married for 22 years and has two children. The Mexican politician also denied the speculation and assured that their relationship is strong.

The famous actress was invited to the show “La Mesa Caliente” on November 8, where she stated that she did not know where the rumors about their separation came from and that it was not the first time that the media “divorced” her.

“There have been several times that (rumors) have gone public and that we have divorced, and the truth is that we just laugh, because even the day it happens, it will obviously happen and that’s it, if it happens. “My husband says he won’t divorce because he wouldn’t change the devil to live the same hell,” she said on the show.

In an interview with TVNotas, Fayad said: “We have been married for 22 years. We are a very dysfunctional family. You see they’ve been screwing around… and screwing up… about whether we’re going to get a divorce. As Victoria says, I won’t leave her. “I’m not willing to change the devil to live in the same hell,” he said.

Fayad explained to the aforementioned Mexican media that the reason why they are considered a “dysfunctional” family is that each of them has their own lifestyle and professional commitments.

“We are dysfunctional because the whole family is everyone on their own wavelength. Victoria is currently starring in a play in the United States. She goes on tour on Thursdays and is back in Pachuca by Sunday, where I currently live. I formed my own independent plural group. I am no longer in the PRI. “I have nothing to do there,” he said.

He additionally commented that he and his wife understand each other perfectly and that their relationship is based on trust and maturity.

“We understand each other very well. If I made my wife jealous, we wouldn’t last a day. I have a beautiful and famous wife. I am a mature man.
