The station’s reporter asked a PiS MP about the Civic Coalition’s project regarding the transparency of the assets of spouses of politicians holding important positions in Poland. Buda admitted that he supported the idea, but quickly moved his statement to a less opposition-friendly direction.

The politician noted that he would like to find out how much money Donald Tusk earned during his work in Brussels. He also referred to the prenup signed by the leader of the Civic Coalition with his wife. He noted that thanks to the document, Małgorzata Tusk’s assets could remain secret.
The name of the former prime minister was changed by Buda in a short conversation and became a hit on the Internet. “‘Donald Tusk, Donald Tusk, about Donald Tusk’, or about the declination performed by former minister Waldemar Buda. How many times has the name of the PO leader been mentioned by a PiS politician?” – TVN24 asks rhetorically.
The TVN24 reporter tried to change the topic and ask about the financial situation of Mateusz Morawiecki and his wife, but Buda did not allow himself to be disturbed. “Will Prime Minister Morawiecki reveal his wife’s assets?” – asked the journalist. “According to the law, everyone will have to disclose, including Donald Tusk,” said the PiS MP. “And why hasn’t this been done before?” – the reporter asked. “I wonder why Donald Tusk concluded a prenup and why he does not disclose his assets and his wife’s assets,” Buda persisted.
There were numerous comments under the recording suggesting that PiS politicians were obsessed with and had complexes about Donald Tusk. “Sick obsession”, “Only Tusk, Tusk and Tusk”, “I didn’t expect the ability to vary so widely by chance” – we read.
