“Nothing so stupid has ever been produced before.” Reviewers massacre Netflix’s “Massacred.”

There is a bomb, an attack, Russians, a lot of whipped cream and an interesting version of “365 days” in Vegas. And this is only the first episode. Foreign critics did not particularly like Netflix’s “Massacred”. The terms “the worst series in a long time” and “a nightmare” were used.

A lot happens in the first episode. A group of agents with very special tasks (so special that the FBI is nothing compared to them) foil an attack using an atomic bomb (of course). Instead of waiting for further orders, they decide to break all the rules and party after a successful action. And since they’re in Vegas, the party can’t end any differently than it did in “The Hangover.” Meanwhile, in the middle of the madness, new orders come.

Netflix’s “Massacred” massacred by critics

The worst, the stupidest and full of absurdity. These are the reviews the new series is getting – they wanted to watch a masterpiece on the level of Bond, “Mission Impossible” and “The Expendables” put together. Meanwhile, 10 minutes of the first episode is enough to know what we are dealing with. It’s certainly not an ambitious production, but it is a lot of fun – especially when watched at high speed.

“Massacred” is another example that proves that critics should stick to “ambitious” productions, and the less ambitious ones should be assessed only through the prism of how many stupid situations happen on the screen. This was the case with both parts of “The Meg” about the bloodthirsty murderer megalodon, and this is now the case with “Massacred”.

The Daily Telegraph warns that this is a terrifying combination of “The Hangover” and Steven Seagal’s productions. Variety says it’s unwatchable nonsense filled with penises and explosions. FandomWire complains about the overstimulation of all the senses and TheSpool complains about the fecal elements. Because yes, there are such things in “Massacred”. And all the reviewers are right, because it is indeed a series of extremely low quality. It’s actually easier to write what is not in this absurd title.

So if you are a fan of American comedies where anything goes, you will get even a little more than decency dictates here. Do you like explosions? There will be more than enough. Or maybe nudity (of both sexes) and sex? Oh yes, that will be too. And nonsense jokes, beautiful (very American) people, idiotic texts, intrigue (extremely stupid)… All this is there, because it’s a vivid combination of “The Hangover” with “The Expendables”, “365 Days” and Russians straight out of Bond. .

Critics hate it, but viewers like it

And since both “The Hangover” and “The Expendables” are films that viewers liked more than critics, it is not surprising that “Massacred” also received 79 percent. positive reviews on Rotten Tomatoes (47% among “professional” reviewers). This is a perfect series for a Friday evening when you’re sick and can’t go out. It’s true that these eight episodes could have been successfully compressed into a maximum of four, but thanks to this we get even more of everything in everything.

This is not an ambitious production. She doesn’t even pretend to be ambitious. And although you will get absolutely nothing from “Massacred” after watching it, apart from the feeling that you have watched something really stupid,… does every series have to have some added value? If so, then the added value in “Massacred” is the feeling that it will be difficult to see anything stupider. Additionally, it is an ideal production to use the accelerated viewing option. Check it out for yourself and you won’t regret it.
