The problem with alcohol still affects many Poles. This is perfectly illustrated by the material of one of the influencers, which she shared on social media. During an hour-long walk, she collected numerous bottles of the so-called monkeys. It turns out that regular store customers buy them first thing in the morning.

Influencer Justyna Żak, known as Juszes, checked how much garbage she could collect during an hour-long walk in the center of Warsaw. However, the experiment showed that there was a lot of waste, and the largest part were empty bottles from the so-called monkeys. Therefore, attention is drawn not only to the problem of littering the environment, but also to alcoholism.

Justyna Żak decided to take some initiative and walk near the Palace of Culture and Science with a box in which she collected garbage. The effect of the experiment was surprising. Among the garbage, the most waste consisted of glass bottles used for various types of alcohol. It consisted primarily of a lot of so-called monkeys. During the first campaign, the influencer collected 69 bottles, and during the second attempt there were over 70 of them. – Poland is a real planet of monkeys – she mentioned in the recording.

The problem shown by the influencer aroused emotions among Instagram users. The material has been played over 500,000 times. times, and numerous comments were left under it. Among them, attention was paid not only to environmental pollution, but also to the problem of alcoholism.

I don’t know what scares me more – the level of littering or the level of alcoholism.

I believe that the ‘monkeys’ should be withdrawn or their price should be a deterrent.

Unfortunately, alcoholism is alive and well, and so is littering.

Journalists of the “” program also decided to look into the matter and asked saleswomen from stores in Warsaw about what the situation looks like in practice. Their observations show that by 10 a.m. about 40 small bottles of alcohol are sold, and after 4 p.m. the number is as high as 80 pieces. Store employees indicate that various people come to buy the “monkeys”. Observations show that these are both construction workers, security guards, and office and law firm employees. – People often come in suits, normally dressed, and take the “monkey” first thing in the morning. And these are the same customers, said one of the salespeople.
