“Don’t give up” is a bittersweet performance in a comedy-dramatic style, in which the Artist plays the role of Kasia celebrating her birthday. The show is a great treat for fans of Kate Bush’s work, as it will feature the singer’s most famous songs. This birthday will be an opportunity for the heroine to reflect on her own life and the roles she plays in it. Kasia will also confront her dreams.
A new show at the Rampa Theater
The heroine’s childhood took place at the turn of the 1980s and 1990s. One evening, she saw a music video for the song “Wuthering Heights” on TV. The video clip’s convention, unique from the rest, phenomenal vocals, moving sounds and liberating dance made Kasia a dreamer.
Today she is an adult woman and has no time for dreams, because she plays many roles and tries to fulfill each of them perfectly. Daughter, wife, mother, subordinate, boss, friend, neighbor… Will Kasia be able to find herself in this crowd?
Anna Mierzwa, playing the role of Kasia, will tell viewers in one evening about a place in life where most of us have been, are or will be, and which is a great beginning of a new chapter.
