A new reporter made her debut in “Wiadomości”. This is about Alicja Kukuła, who has been associated with the station for years, but she performed a different function. According to the Wirtualne Media website, until recently she was mainly a researcher and co-created materials with Kinga Kwiecień and Bartosz Łyżwiński.
A new reporter in TVP’s “Wiadomości”. She co-created an interview with a non-existent designer
Although the name of the new reporter is probably not very well known to everyone, the journalist has already marked her presence in the history of television in 2020. During the presidential election campaign, Kukuła and the then reporter Kinga Kwiecień prepared a flattering material commenting on Agata Kornhauser-Duda’s dressing style.
A certain Christian Paul, an American fashion designer, commented on the taste of the future first lady. Journalists and TVP viewers checked the credibility of the alleged fashion expert and it quickly turned out that the character was most likely made up.
The TVP expert’s social media accounts began to appear only after the material was broadcast. The OKO.Press portal discovered that a person confusingly similar to the designer has an account on Liknedin, but his CV does not mention fashion. The profile disappeared after an article was published about it. However, memes featuring the “American designer” appeared, which accurately ridiculed the absurd situation.

Another popular material co-created by Kukuła is a Christmas reportage about the Star of Bethlehem and the Three Kings. The ladies illustrated it with fragments of Monty Python’s satirical film “Life of Brian”. Now Alicja Kukuła had the opportunity to prepare a review of information from abroad for “Wiadomości”.
