Producers try to approach the latest topics with caution. As long as historical events affected historical figures and – most of them – already dead, there were no major disagreements. However, when contemporary topics were touched upon, the scriptwriters and production found themselves in a veritable minefield. Their biggest problems – the death of Princess Diana – are already behind them. Now it’s time for lighter, much more enjoyable threads.

The future king and queen consort – Prince William and Duchess Kate – have been married since 2011. However, the young people met many years earlier. Kate Middleton even got an unpleasant nickname in the British press: “Waity Katie”. Before William proposed, Kate even broke up with him. The series “The Crown” has become a real crown jewel in the Netflix crown. Since 2016, there have been six ten-episode seasons. Only the finale was decided to be divided into two parts. The six missing episodes will hit the platform on December 14.
