In winter, this problem returns and becomes more severe. Most people reach for soda. We know a better way

Many people struggle with the problem of mold in their apartment every year. When the humidity in the house is too high and there is no proper air circulation, green or black residue appears on the walls. This most often happens in winter.

Mold usually appears in places with high humidity, such as the bathroom, kitchen or basement. If you dry laundry in your apartment or have leaky windows, fungus can appear in any room. You will then notice dark green, brown or black stains on the walls and a musty smell throughout the house.

How to remove mold from the wall? Put these rules into practice

When a room is improperly ventilated and underheated, water vapor begins to condense in the coldest places, i.e. near the windows and in the corners of the walls. The resulting mold is not only unsightly, but also harmful to the environment. In addition to preventive airing of the house at least once a day, you also need to take care of airing mattresses and bedding.

Under no circumstances should you cover the area where the fungus has appeared with furniture. In this way, you only create favorable conditions for further development. Do not hang wet towels or towels on radiators, as this will prevent the radiators from drying the windows. Before you go to the store and spend a fortune on special moldicides, try to get rid of the ugly molds with home methods.

How to get rid of mold from walls at home? Sprinkle in corners

To fight mold, use sea salt, which not only disinfects but also absorbs moisture. Sprinkle a lot of salt in places where mold has appeared and leave for half an hour. After this time, scrub the surface with a sponge and wash with warm water. Later, as a preventive measure, place an open container with sea salt in this place. This will prevent the fungus from coming back. The second way is to make a natural disinfectant with 2 tablespoons of tea tree oil and two glasses of water. After mixing, pour the liquid into a spray bottle, spray the infected wall and leave for 30 minutes. After this time, there will be no trace of the ugly coating. You can buy the oil in any pharmacy. The price for 10 ml is approximately PLN 11.
