This doubt was clarified by the chef Jorge Rausch in an interview with Tropicana FM from Colombia, put an end to this mystery.

Rausch explained that all food prepared in the program and any leftovers go to a food bank, while “what is edible” is eaten later. ‘We are clearly very careful with waste’ he emphasized.

“A very nice alliance has been made with the food bank. Not only we have left, but the participants have gone too and we are very aware that food waste is clearly not an option.” he added.
