Golden Globes 2022. The list of nominees is here, including “Squid Game” and “Lupine”

The HBO series “Sukcesja” received the most, five nominations. Right behind him with four is “Ted Lasso” (Apple TV +) and “The Morning Show” (Apple TV +). What draws attention is the fact that among the best drama series, in addition to the three American titles, are the South Korean hit of Netflix of recent weeks, “Squid Game”, and the previously equally popular French “Lupine”.

When it comes to films, “Belfast”, “CODA”, “Dune”, “King Richard” and “Psie Claws” will compete for the statuette for the best drama. In the comedy or musical category, however, the following are nominated: “Cyrano”, “Don’t look up”, “Licorice Pizza”, “Tick, Tick … Boom!” and “West Side Story”. Keneth Branagh’s Belfast, a very personal film by the actor and director, as well as Dog’s Claws starring Benedict Cumberbatch, have the best chances of winning – after seven nominations -.

The 79th awards gala is scheduled for January 9.
