At the beginning of November, all new customers purchasing access to the subscription had to take into account that they would pay slightly more than customers who had set up and paid for an account in the previous months. Now, however, a price increase is coming for old subscribers as well. Already at the beginning of December, existing subscribers with access to the service purchased before November 2023 will pay more.
Disney Plus increases prices in December
The last increases planned by Disney+ for this year will come into force on December 6. This time, they will affect existing subscribers who joined the streaming offer before November 2023. So far, a monthly subscription cost PLN 28.99. From December 6, customers who have not decided to cancel their contract with Disney+ will pay PLN 37.99 – almost PLN 10 more. The price of the annual subscription will also increase – from PLN 289.90 to PLN 379.90. These prices are no surprise to people who joined Disney+ in November – that’s how much you had to pay for the subscription after October.
Disney+ has also tightened its policy on account sharing. From November 1, account sharing is only possible for people living in one household – for now, this change only affected Canada, but there is no doubt that after Canadians, the rest of the world will follow. We can only hope that tightening regulations will come to Poland as late as Disney+ itself – we have been waiting for the launch of the platform in our country for two years.
December on Disney+
Disney+ is the only streaming platform in Poland that offers access to the entire series of films from the “Star Wars” universe as well as Marvel films and series. In December, the platform will include, among others: the latest part of the adventures of Indiana Jones – “Indiana Jones and the Artifact of Destiny” (premiere on December 15). Fans who remember Percy Jackson from their teenage years will be able to watch the series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” before Christmas.
In addition to Disney classics in the form of popular animations and films for children, on Disney+ you will see (without ads) a must-see during the holidays, i.e. “Die Hard” with Bruce Willis and “Home Alone” (and in New York).
