Colombian singer Karol G surprised the inmates of the women’s prison Picaleña, in Ibagué, with a concert she held last Thursday, November 23. The artist performed her most popular songs for an hour and announced her tour of Colombia called ‘Con Cora Tour’.

On social networks, videos of the Karol G concert in a women’s prisonwhere the two-time Billboard Award winner was seen singing and dancing with inmates on a makeshift stage.
Karol wore a casual look consisting of worn wide jeans, combined with a white top and a black T-shirt. Her hair was loose for more comfort.

This presentation, in front of the prisoners, is the first of several that the interpreter of “Tomorrow will be beautiful” will give in her homeland.
The “Con Cora Tour” is an initiative of the Karol G Foundation, which seeks to bring entertainment and support to the most vulnerable communities in Colombia, explains 20 Minutes.

“We are very proud to embark on this ‘Con Cora Tour’, inspired by the social mission of our founder Karol G and with the purpose of bringing light and hope to vulnerable communities,” said Foundation Director Valentina Bueno, quoted in a statement by the Spanish portal.
The winner of the Latin Grammy for Best Album in 2023 will also visit hospitals and prisons in different cities, where she will diagnose the conditions and shortcomings of those places to help improve the quality of life of the people there. (AND)
