The Vitoria short film festival, Cortada, will celebrate its 25th anniversary between the 15th and 18th, with the screening of 28 short films and a program of parallel activities such as a “concert with live visuals” and a talk on creative processes.
The 28 pieces can be seen at Vital Fundazioa Kulturunea from Wednesday to Saturday in sessions at 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., and will compete for the best short film, best Basque short film, best documentary, best animation and Gureak award. .
Some of the titles are “Ur azpian lore” (Aitor Oñederra), “Kinka” (Maider Oleaga), “Mula” (Mariano Benayón and Carlos Balseiro), “Zerua Blu” (Lur Olaizola), “Lovebirds” (Victor Moreno) , “Berak baleki” (Aitor Gametxo), “Azaletik azalera” (Mel Arranz), “Watts” (David Pérez Sañudo), “Totem wolf” (Verónica Echegui), “Heltzear” (Mikel Gurrea) and “The fall of the swift “(Gonzalo Quincoces), the latter two selected at the Venice and Cannes festivals respectively.
