Closed, insulated shoes, made of artificial materials, and synthetic socks or tights. This is a recipe for making guests feel at least uncomfortable. In Poland, taking off your shoes in someone’s house is rather welcomed, and sometimes even required – especially when it is snowing or muddy outside. That’s why we leave them at the entrance and, under stress, we hope that no one will pay attention to our problem.
Beware of coffee
The feet themselves are very susceptible to excessive sweating, and further, also to the development of bacteria and fungi. Lots of nooks and crannies between the toes, artificial materials and shoes that do not allow air to pass through, as well as the fact that some people do not touch their feet in the shower – after all, they wash themselves when the foam flows from us. It is also worth adding improper diet and diseases that are also worth taking care of. All this makes our feet start to stink.
While there is no quick solution to diseases (you just need to see a doctor), we have a lot of influence on other issues. Not everyone knows that such a popular drink as coffee can make the smell of our sweat unbearable. It is worth checking what other products cause excessive sweating and avoiding them. In addition, socks and shoes made of natural materials will be our allies. And proper hygiene.
Pour a few drops into water and spray your feet
If we are struggling with the problem of smelly feet, it is also worth using a popular product. If we don’t have it at home, we can buy it at any pharmacy or drugstore for literally a few zlotys. Tea tree oil is famous for its bactericidal and disinfecting properties, and additionally has a fresh scent. How to use it? It will be most convenient to use a spray bottle. Mix water and a few drops of oil inside. Every morning and evening, after bathing, shake the bottle thoroughly and spray this homemade remedy on your feet, remembering about the spaces between the toes. It is best to let it dry thoroughly. If we don’t have that much time, especially in the morning, we dry our feet before putting on socks. Extra moisture won’t work to our advantage.
