Introduction ceremony Queen of Quito for the period 2023-2024 It was held tonight from 20:00 at the Bolívar Theater, in the historic center of the capital. The competition was led by communicators Ronald Farina and Gabriela Galárraga. He was crowned at that event Camila Becerrawho leads the First Smiles project.

Ten candidates for the crown of Queen San Francisco de Quito paraded in long dresses with Andean textiles and prints (from the collection of Aiuca, Gabriela Moya), in this order:

The judges of the gala evening were Fernanda Cobo, content creator and fashion expert; Janeth Hinostroza, journalist; Marcel Scholem, general manager of El Condado and Scala Shopping malls; Jorge Ulloa, film director; and Gabriela Moya, costume designer.

The second parade that the candidates did was in cocktail dresses created by designer Gisela Romero and her brand Aligora. Then the young women walked in evening dresses, which were also designed by Ecuadorian creative women.

After the three catwalks, there was a round of questions that focused on the social projects that each participant will lead for their year of reign.

During the ceremony, a series of videos showing the activities carried out by the candidates, as well as a video about the work, was shown outgoing queen (2022-2023), María Esther Hernández. In the evening, she appeared to say goodbye to her rule and hand over the crown to the winner.
