The first alimony hearing was supposed to take place in September, but Adamczyk presented a sick leave. The next date is set for February next year. Agnieszka Piechurska told “Fakt” that her ex-husband informed their daughter, who turns 17 in May 2024, “to take into account that this process will drag on and on until she enters adulthood.”
Piechurska: He earned more and more on television, but he did not increase the amount of alimony
Michał Adamczyk and Agnieszka Piechurska met in 2001 and got married five years later. From this second marriage, the TVP employee has a daughter. The couple separated shortly after her birth, in 2007. According to Piechurska, their relationship was good until she applied to the court for an increase in alimony. – He earned more and more money on television, but he did not increase the amount of alimony. My lawyer asked for an increase in child support. They were determined by the court. It was increased to PLN 1,500. This was the first increase. The court relied on his PIT returns, which showed PLN 50,000. PLN in earnings per month from Polish Television, and yet he increased his alimony by PLN 300 – Piechurska tells “Fakt”. Adamczyk has not contacted his ex-wife for a year, but he allegedly offered her two settlements before the parliamentary elections. According to the journalist, Adamczyk “is not interested in the child’s education” and “they didn’t even meet during the holidays.”
The first settlement concerned transferring a higher amount to the daughter. – He noted that these costs were highly inflated considering our daughter’s needs. He also emphasized that it would be PLN 4,000 provided that he maintains his current job at TVP, which means that PiS will win, says Piechurska. In the second one, he obliged his ex-wife, among others: to a ban on speaking about their relationship under threat of a financial penalty. This is a proposal – just like the first one, rejected by Piechurska – which appeared after media publications about another union of a TVP employee.
Adamczyk, who until recently was one of the main faces of “Wiadomości”, disappeared from the air after the publication of Onet, which wrote about a court case in connection with the beating of a woman with whom he was in a relationship. He has not been presenting the 7:30 p.m. program since September, but after his vacation. Since April this year, Adamczyk has been the head of the Television Information Agency.
Adamczyk denies the allegations
As Piechurska says, her ex-husband also did not agree to transfer one of the four apartments he owned to his daughter. – The next step was to suggest that he pay me compensation for the harm I had suffered from him in the past. The money would be entirely spent on my daughter’s education. He didn’t agree to this either, Piechurska reports. Adamczyk, like her other statements and events, interprets them differently. “Agnieszka Piechurska demands alimony in the amount of PLN 6,000. Currently, in addition to the alimony, I support my daughter every month by giving her money for tutoring, cosmetics, clothes and electronics. Moreover, even though the awarded amount is currently PLN 2,400, I proposed to A. Piechurska that a settlement with an amount much higher than the Court’s decision to end the case and protect the daughter from further media statements made by her mother. The settlement was not reached because A. Piechurska began to demand more money, this time for herself, while threatening to publicize the alimony case. First, there was a demand to hand over the apartment, and then a demand to pay her a large sum of money. When I asked for what purpose, her attorney broke off the talks. My relationship with my daughter was very good. However, after filing the lawsuit, A. Piechurska began to interfere in them, daughter against me, she did not allow me to go on joint trips with my daughter. I try not to involve my daughter in this matter. I only mentioned that I had not reached an agreement with my mother regarding alimony and perhaps in the future we will arrange it between ourselves, because in a year and a half it will be of age”.`
