“Cabaret Live” was one of the most frequently watched items on Polsat’s schedule. However, this did not stop the broadcaster from removing the program just before the parliamentary elections. At the beginning of November, the creators of the program officially thanked the station for its cooperation. On November 10, they issued a statement in which they regretted that their work had fallen victim to censorship by Polsat.
“Young and moral” do not give up their weapons. They are moving to the Internet
A few days ago, the leader of the Cabaret of Moral Anxiety even made a joke in which he said that the broadcaster had sensed the direction in which Polish politics was heading and therefore decided to thank the cabaret artists in advance for their cooperation so that they would not attack the current democratic opposition.
However, the artists did not decide to sink into the ground now and started publishing their materials on the Internet. On Robert Górski’s YouTube channel we can find the latest radio play entitled “Andrzej – Mateusz”. In an announcement of the material on Instagram, the comedian pointed out that this is currently the only form in which one can read the “censored work of the Young and Moral”.
It is an audio skit lasting just over four minutes, performed by Robert Górski and Paweł Koślik, who play the roles of the president and current prime minister of Poland. The latter decides to visit the head of state’s office to talk about the mission of forming a government, which is unlikely to succeed.
In the latest material there are only two characters: the prime minister and the president
The material is very strong and its creators focus primarily on the greatest weaknesses of politicians. They decided to point out the president’s naivety and lack of logical thinking (at one point, Morawiecki turns to Duda with the words: – Are you stupid? Can you count? Do you believe in what I say? I guess you are the only one left…), and the prime minister lying and fraud.
At one point, Morawiecki decides to reveal why they decided on this idea, even though it is doomed to failure. – To extend your notice periods, retire or retire, take as much as you can – he finally admits. – So I looked like a fool? – asks the worried president. – They’ve called you worse names and won in court for a long time – replies the proud prime minister.
Robert Górski stated that the series dedicated to Andrzej Duda will be present in the repertoire of “Młody i moralnych” for the next two years. Let us remind you that Andrzej Duda’s second term in office will end only in 2025. Certainly, many things will have happened by then that will inspire cabaret artists to create funny skits.
