We take care of our feet the most in the summer, when we wear open shoes and all “I don’t feel like it” is clearly visible. In autumn and winter, we indulge more often. And the consequences can be disastrous. Dry skin and ugly cracked heels are problematic not only for visual reasons. Fortunately, this can be easily combated.

Neglected feet neither look attractive nor are they healthy. If we do not react in time, we can quickly expect to fight an infection and walking will become painful. Therefore, even in the cold months – and especially then – we should pay special attention to the condition of our feet.

Keep your feet under control

The best way to have well-groomed feet is regularity. If we give up on scrubbing dead skin and lubricating our feet, we will quickly notice that the condition of the skin deteriorates significantly. In the worst case scenario, it may crack and the infection may flare up. Additionally, the feet are extremely susceptible to the development of bacteria and fungi, and if they get out of control, the unpleasant symptoms will only intensify.

Therefore, it is worth taking care of your feet in the same way as other parts of your body. In addition to regular washing, exfoliation (preferably using a grater – pumice stone and exfoliating masks may worsen the problem), trimming nails and moisturizing with cream, it is good to do a regenerative mask once every few days. We can buy a lot of foot care products in stores. Sometimes we don’t even know which one to choose because there is so much to choose from. Moreover, we often spend a fortune on them.

Instead of oatmeal, apply it to your feet

Not everyone knows that the ingredients for a great mask can be found at home. Especially if we don’t want to eat them anymore, it is worth using them on our feet. It often happens that bananas bought a few days earlier start to ripen and become mushy. To avoid the hassle of eating them and at the same time not to throw them away, it is a good idea to make a homemade mask. Just mash a banana and mix it with two tablespoons of natural yogurt. Apply this paste to dry feet right after bathing. It is best to protect them with loose cotton socks or plastic bags. After 20 minutes, remove the mask and rinse your feet. Now we can apply our favorite cream.

Such a nourishing mask will regenerate the skin of your feet in a few moments. It will make it soft and smooth. By the way, we don’t have to spend millions on it, because we probably already have the ingredients at home.
