Before starting the game of “One of Ten”, as usual, he introduced the participants gathered in the studio to the viewers. One of them was Krzysztof from Lębork, who deals with risk analysis on a daily basis. Therefore, the presenter referred to the participant’s professional competences in the question. “Mr. Krzysztof from Lębork deals with risk analysis. I have to ask, Mr. Krzysztof, what resulted from the risk analysis of taking part in the game show?” – Sznuk asked. However, he did not have to wait long for Mr. Krzysztof’s answer, because without hesitation he blurted out: “There is practically no risk. You can either win a game show or become a meme star.” After these words, the confused Sznuk allowed himself a short comment: “Well, basically, you’re right.”
A sudden twist
As it later turned out, Mr. Krzysztof was the winner of the episode. The host briefly summarized the participant’s victory, referring to his previous words. “Both eventualities that you predicted may come true for one person. You are already a winner, and perhaps you will become a hero of memes,” Sznuk said. The host was many things right – Krzysztof from Lębork not only won the program, but also became an Internet star as the hero of viral recordings circulating on the Internet.
The new season of “One of Ten” was supposed to start broadcasting at the end of November, but the decision-makers of TVP decided to postpone it to spring 2024. Instead of the premiere, reruns of last year’s episodes will be shown on Polish Television.
