This first part of the semi-finalist group includes a trans woman, a mother, a plus-size or plus-size woman, and for the first time, Pakistan is also participating.

The first trans woman, Portugal

Marina Machete is a transgender competitor who entered the group of 20 semi-finalists. She is the first trans woman to represent her country for the universal beauty crown.

She is 28 years old and works as a flight attendant.

The first woman in life size, Nepal

Jane Dipika Garret is the first plus-size woman to achieve notable participation in the pageant without her weight being an obstacle – although she has detractors who criticize her intervention.

She is 22 years old and a nurse. Through her social networks, she wants to become an inspiration to other women to love and accept their bodies.

First mother, Colombia

Camila Avella (28) is the first mother to reach this stage of the competition, which changed the internal rules for the contestants.

She is originally from Yopalo, in the department of Casanare. She married businessman Nassif Kamle in 2020, and they celebrated their marriage with an intimate wedding during the pandemic.

Pakistan’s first participation

Erica Robin is a 24-year-old model. With her intervention in the government, she marks a historic moment in the competition by being the first representative of her country in a competition of this type.

Her career in modeling started at the age of 16, she is part of a Christian family, that is, she is part of a religious minority in Pakistan.
