Although store shelves in drugstores and discount stores are full of household chemicals, why overpay when we can successfully make some of the products at home. One of them may be fabric softener, which will certainly be more ecological and gentle on the skin. See for yourself how simple it is.
How to prepare homemade fabric softener?
First of all, prepare a plastic packaging – it can be used for fabric softener bought in a store. Then you need: gray soap, soda ash and boiling water. Grate about 1/2 of the soap using a coarse grater, then pour a liter of boiling water and mix thoroughly. Set aside to cool. Pour 1/4 cup of baking soda into the second bowl and also pour a liter of boiling water over it. When both mixtures cool down, carefully pour them into the previously prepared bottle and mix again. Use like regular fabric softener!
