“Całkiem Nowa Bajka” is the second single announcing the album with the soundtrack to the first part of the trilogy “Akademia Pana Kleksa”. – This is a sentimental journey. I watched all parts of Mr. Kleks. Importantly, I also had the soundtrack on vinyl, so I listened to all these legendary songs on the record player. I am also on the path of the new Mr. Kleks. For me, this is something great, especially since we have gathered really great artists here – says Mrozu.

The artists’ sentiment towards the extraordinary fairy tale from 40 years ago can be heard in their single, full of non-obvious solutions. The musicians created a modern hit that fits in with the trends and could easily become the anthem of the record-breaking popularity of Mêskie Granie. At the same time, they retained respect for the original. What is particularly touching here is the new lyrics of the song, which are based on what Jan Brzechwa wrote, but are less naive and infantile. It clearly reminds us that we would all like to live in a dream world without pain and worries, which are also known to the youngest, main recipients of fairy tales. At the same time, it gives hope that with a little effort we can create such a world or at least that it is worth trying.
The single is accompanied by a unique clip featuring all the Artists and… Piotr Fronczewski, who 40 years ago created the unforgettable role of Ambroży Kleks, and today invites listeners to get acquainted with a new version of the magical world. This is an important premiere also because of its social dimension. All revenues obtained from the distribution of the song “Całkiem Nowa Bajka” will be donated to the One Day Foundation.
Mr. Kleks’ Academy is a modernized version of Jan Brzechwa’s classic fairy tale, appealing with its content and form to the youngest, but also entering into a dialogue with older viewers who still remember the cult film adaptation from the 1980s. The premiere of the film is scheduled for January 5, 2024.
