For several days, the media have been commenting on the events of the first session of the Sejm after the elections. Viewers of current affairs programs also have a lot to say about this. Thanks to the “Contact Glass” format broadcast on TVN24, some of them can share their thoughts with journalists.
Tomasz Sianecki brutally interrupted the viewer’s statement in “Contact Glass”
One of the last editions of the program was hosted by Tomasz Sianecki, who discussed current events with Tomasz Jachimek. During the 40 minutes of the format, journalists received several calls from viewers. According to the rules, each caller has exactly one minute to speak. However, Sianecki has the right to shorten this time, which he did when Mrs. Małgorzata from Leszno called the broadcaster.
– I have a message for PiS MPs. After yesterday’s and today’s conversations, I suggest that they report to Kościan – the viewer began. – It is 40 km from Leszno, there is a psychiatric hospital there. Because I believe that an untreated disease is dangerous not only for the sick person… – she continued.
“These are very serious matters, there is nothing to joke about”
– I’m very sorry, but I’ll take a break here – said Mrs. Małgorzata Sianecki. The journalist noted that he was aware that he had brutally interrupted the viewer, but he would not like similar comparisons to be made in “Contact Lens”. – These are very serious matters, there is nothing to joke about – he emphasized.
Sianecki then referred to a crude joke by the former president of the Supreme Audit Office, Krzysztof Kwiatkowski, who joked in a similar tone. – He made a joke about who won in psychiatric hospitals in the last elections. Later he apologized without any procedure, so that should be a plus for him – added the presenter.
– Let’s put an end to this kind of comparison. Especially since they fall on both sides. I’m sorry I behaved so brutally, but that’s just how I am – concluded Sianecki.
