In a very special and private way, the English King Charles III celebrates in Clarence House his 75th birthday, in the villa where he continues to reside with Queen Consort Camilla until renovations are completed at Buckingham Palace, where he must move, Semana says.

The villa dates back to 1825 and was previously the home of the Queen Mother, who died in 2002. It has five bedrooms, a lounge with a central fireplace and a living room filled with personal photos, art and antiques.

Among the most welcoming spaces in the royal couple’s residence is the Garden Room, a room created by Queen Elizabeth out of two rooms and offering wonderful views of the colorful exterior.

Today, it is “used to welcome official visitors and contains musical instruments, family photos and artwork. In the music corner, there is the prince’s harp, donated by the Víctor Salvi Foundation,” explains Clarence House’s post on Instagram.

The Morning Room at Clarence House was originally designed as a breakfast room and was used as the Duke of Edinburgh’s study between 1949 and 1952. It is currently used for receptions and official visits.

The gardens were designed by the Queen Mother, who lived there before King Charles, according to Mi Casa.
