In an interview with the weekly “Niedziela”, the artist recalled the beginnings of her faith, which developed over time. “I didn’t suddenly become a devout believer. Already as a teenager, I went to oases in Krościenko and went on pilgrimages. When I was 16, we founded an oasis group in Szczecin,” she told Niedziela.

Węgorzewska also faced harassment because of her faith: “We also, just like today, experienced hate or harassment because of our faith. Despite everything, I knew that testimony was important. It is still like this today.” For the singer, faith became a huge support. Węgorzewska also admitted that in difficult situations she orders Holy Mass. in Bethlehem at the Grotto of the Nativity. Sometimes he also “reaches for the Pompeian Novena”.

The artist also talked about the times of the COVID-19 pandemic. Prayer then helped her overcome her fear of illness. “When our intentions concern ourselves, our loved ones, the situation in the world, and we really want to express them in prayer, Our Lady will give us the strength to go through the novena,” she told the weekly Niedziela.
