According to reports from the American website Deadline, filming for the second season of “Wednesday” will begin as soon as possible. Most likely, it will be only at the end of April 2024, because only then will the entire cast of actors be able to coordinate their dates.

The first season was recorded in Romania, but the location in the Balkans posed major logistical challenges, so the next series was decided to be shot in Ireland. As the series’ co-creator, Al Gough, said, in the second series we will be able to see much more of Catherina Zeta-Jones, who plays the title character’s mother, because the mother-daughter relationship will be one of the main threads in the series. Their relationship is expected to improve significantly.
