Dua Lipa is one of the biggest pop stars of the young generation from Kosovo. In 2016, she conquered local radio stations with the single “Be The One” and since then literally every single of hers has been a hit. During the holidays, the charts were dominated by the song “Dance The Night”, which was featured on the soundtrack to Greta Gerwig’s film “Barbie”.
So far, the singer has performed in Poland twice, and the third concert, which was supposed to take place at last year’s edition of Open’er, was canceled due to bad weather conditions. The event participants had to evacuate immediately, and the festival organizers emphasized that Dua Lipa would perform at the Open’er again. The singer wrote the same thing, promising to return to Poland as soon as possible.

Now it’s safe to say that the words have become flesh, because the singer has just been announced as the first headliner of the largest music festival in Poland. Dua Lipa will perform on the second day of the event, i.e. on Thursday, July 4, 2024, on the Orange Main Stage.
It is quite possible that by then she will be able to finish working on new material, which she co-creates, among others. with Kevin Parker, who is the creator of the Tame Impala project. Last Friday, the latest single, “Haudini”, which Parker co-produced, premiered.
A few weeks ago, in an interview with the New York Times Magazine, the artist revealed that her upcoming release will be completely different from the previous ones, and will be accompanied by the atmosphere of the 70s and psychedelia. She stated that the album was inspired by two albums – “Ray of Light” by Madonna from 1998 and “Currents” by the above-mentioned Tame Impala project from 2015.
