So far, the creators have shot some of the series in a historic villa near Warsaw. The local neighbors are fed up with the presence of the film crew, which has been renting the building and the adjacent area for production purposes for years. The last photos in the Lubiczów villa were shot last year, but then the producers of the series heard that it was due to the poor condition of the access road, on which local residents also had to travel. In the meantime, renovations were carried out, but the film crew still did not return to Podkowa Leśna.

“There were protests against the production. Some people believe that the return of the broadcast trucks to the newly renovated road will quickly destroy it and they do not want to agree to sign the necessary permits. Without them, unfortunately, the team has no chance to shoot further photos at the Chojnicki house.” – Anna Wiejowska from the “Klan” press office told Plotek.
The producers tried to explain the absence of the Lubicz family to the viewers. It started with a meteorite that hit the villa “in Sadyba”. As a result of this cosmic event, Elżbieta had to move to Dr. Lubicz’s house. Later it turned out that the heroes’ house was attacked by dangerous fungi: cerebral rot and ragwort. In subsequent episodes, the idea of converting the Lubiczów villa into an escape room was floated. This solution would leave producers a proverbial “door” thanks to which they could return to work on the set of the villa at any time.
