“Contact Glass” on TVN24 is a cult satirical program that comments on current events in Polish political life. Although it has been broadcast since 2005, it had no competition for a long time. Only after the arrival of the so-called good change in TVP, the new owners decided to create a very similar format entitled “In so much vision”, whose star is, among others, Magdalena Ogórek.
New Sejm, new Senate, and no changes in Law and Justice
The hosts of Monday’s episode were Tomasz Sianecki and Marek Przybylik, and the main topic was the first meeting of the Sejm of the 10th term and the Senate of the 11th term. Comments included: the election of a new Speaker of the Sejm, who announced the introduction of a new order in the lower house, and the designation of Mateusz Morawiecki as Prime Minister by President Andrzej Duda.
However, the most emotions appeared in the middle part of the program, when it was decided to include translations by the former Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Piotr Gliński. This concerns the situation from the end of October, when a PiS politician pretended not to hear a question from TVN24 reporter Agata Adamek. On Monday, he was asked for explanations by another station reporter, Radomir Wit.

However, the former Minister of Culture did not withdraw from his version of events and decided to attack the TVN station again, not mincing his scandalous words. – We barely heard, don’t talk about the truth here, because you are from an institution that deals with lies and manipulation – replied the Law and Justice politician to the TVN24 journalist.
Tomasz Sianecki, the host of “Contact Glass”, reacted with indignation to this situation and began to say that Piotr Gliński was getting lost in his statements, once claiming that he did not hear the question, and the next time saying that he barely heard it. He also said that everyone says something tactless sometimes, but the trick is to reflect. He summed up the whole situation with these words:
Just rude and boisterous. Well, I’m very sorry, but I’m rude and rude. With a professor’s title.
