For years, Maciej Orłości was the face of one of the most popular news programs on Polish Television. The journalist, who was always associated with funny anecdotes, stopped running “Teleexpress” in 2016, shortly after the advent of the so-called a good change to public media.
Since then, he has worked in various editorial offices, but mainly focuses on Internet activities – both on YouTube and social media. In the latter, he allowed himself a sharp comment, in which he did not spare harsh words towards the United Right, using vulgarisms.
Maciej Orłości bluntly attacks PiS and Sovereign Poland politicians
The journalist’s followers were shocked when they heard the recording of him swearing. However, most of them agree with Orłoś’s opinion and even support his sharp comment. “One hundred percent right. There are no more such voices and no beating around the bush,” comments one of the Internet users. What exactly did he say?
Taking this opportunity, I have a question for the gentlemen and ladies from Sovereign Poland and PiS. How the f*** is it that in a situation where the greatest threat to Poland, as I think every conscious Pole believes, is Russia, there is war. A war with tanks, drones, airstrikes, front lines, soldiers, torture, murders, you keep talking about the threat from the European Union? – says the journalist.
The anti-EU narrative from the United Right camp has been visible for a long time. However, it intensified significantly during the election campaign. Politicians of the ruling camp believe that the European Union is taking away Poland’s sovereignty, and they accuse Donald Tusk of collaboration with Germany.
– You keep talking about the threat from Berlin, Germany and Brussels. What this is about? Have you completely lost your mind or are you working for Russia in all this? – asks Maciej Orłości, probably referring to Jarosław Kaczyński’s last words on Independence Day, when he threatened that if PiS does not form a government, “Poland will not be a country at all.”
The journalist then informed that the majority of Poles, including the PiS electorate, wanted to remain in the European Union, and United Right politicians “fuck that the biggest threat is Brussels and the European Union.” Maciej Orłości concluded his entire statement by saying that this whole situation is beyond his understanding.
