Adam Driver replied to a question from a viewer in Toruń. “Fuck off”

Adam Driver was one of the special guests at the Camerimage festival in Toruń. He promoted his latest film “Ferrari”. One of the questions from the audience during the press conference unnerved him.

Michael Mann’s “Ferrari” will hit Polish cinemas only on December 29. However, only a few had the opportunity to see the film at the Energa Camerimage festival in Toruń. After the screening, viewers could meet the main actor – a two-time Oscar nominee. The actor received a question, which he answered without a moment’s hesitation.

Adam Driver told a fan to “f*** off”

In “Ferrari”, Adam Driver plays the main role of Enzo Ferrari, an Italian entrepreneur and driver, alongside Penelope Cruz. For the actor, he is another famous Italian tycoon after Maurizio Gucci. In Michael Mann’s production, Driver prepares for one of the most important Italian races and fights to maintain full control over a company over which dark clouds have loomed. At the same time, his private life is also falling apart.

Fans watched “Ferrari” last weekend at the Camerimage festival in Toruń. The movie included a scene of an accident during the Mille Miglia race in 1957 – if you don’t know the story of Enzo Ferrari, I won’t spoil it for you. All you need to know is that this event was a turning point in the entrepreneur’s career. Not everyone liked its implementation. At a meeting with viewers, Adam Driver was surprised by the following question:

What do you think about the accident scene? They looked quite drastic, sorry, and to be honest, bad in my opinion.

Fuck, I don’t know what else to say, the actor replied. -Next question, please.

“Ferrari” with Adam Driver nominated for an Oscar

There will be real fever for Oscar fans for two more months. Nominations for this one of the most important film awards in the world will be announced in mid-January. Meanwhile, subsequent productions appear as serious candidates for nomination. “Ferrari” is one of those films that will most likely compete for several statuettes – for the best film, actors, director, cinematography and sound. It would be a nice change for Adam Driver – although he has played in several high-profile productions in recent years (but also “The House of Gucci” and “The Last Duel”), he received a nomination in 2020 for “Marriage Story”.

The actor, beloved by fans, is a rare guest at film festivals, rarely gives interviews and is known for being rather secretive. A few months ago, his personal assistant described working with the actor in a few sentences:

He is very careful. I don’t feel confident in front of large groups of people. Once you gain his trust, he is very funny, but generally he is a serious person, he does not allow himself to go crazy, he is focused on his career and worries about what others may think about him – he wrote on social media.
