In early October 2023, Italian-American actress and model Julia Fox’s manicurist, Juan Alvear, posted a photo of her latest nail design. There were a lot of questions from curious Internet users about her “two-layer” hand manicure. The description attached to the Instagram entry shows that the decorations were made using the wet technique, all for the purpose of a cover session for one of the magazines.
The layered styling consists of the first milky-pink one, i.e. the so-called base and on the other, transparent, covered with large silver zircons. This combination is a cross between a water droplet pattern and the most literal version of a 3D manicure. The nails were filed into a medium tapered square shape.
