Paweł Lipski, known in the industry under the pseudonym Nowator, is a vocalist, songwriter and composer from Opoczno, who started his artistic activity in the late 1990s. Then, as a 15-year-old, he released his first album titled “Teoria Opoczyńskiego Rymowania”, abbreviated as “TeOeR”. . It was his first, but not last, so-called illegal, i.e. an album created from samples without the knowledge or consent of the copyright owners.
He won the Polsat music show. The program was never broadcast
The following years were a time of development for Nowator, in which he unsuccessfully tried to attract the attention of the music industry. He only managed to do it in 2005, when he won Polsat’s “Hip hop start”. Although the program was ultimately not broadcast, he was still able to win the main prize, which was the release of a debut album. Thus, a few months later, his first album “Alphabetyczny census” was released on the record market. It included not only solo songs, but also compilations with other artists, including: with Ten Typ Mes or Lerek, with whom he later released “Moja paninka”.
In the meantime, he started collaborating with other contractors. He appeared as a guest on Camey Squad’s producer’s album “Rytm ulica”, as well as the third album of the band Płomień 81 “Historie z Neighborhood”. However, he won the hearts of listeners with the timeless song “Moja panienko”, which was included on Lerek’s debut album “Bo bez się”. In 2007, together with Feniks, he created the mixtape “Dozwolone od lat 18”, and a year later he released two more solo albums: first “Nielegal” “Panie i pozna”, and then “Welcome to Poland” on My Music.

Although one cannot help but feel that in recent years Nowator has somewhat faded into the background, he has not stopped engaging in music. He still creates new songs and regularly meets with fans during , which he reports in posts published on his Instagram profile. Every year he performs live about a hundred times, not only in Poland, but also abroad.
He has several real hits to his credit. among others “Z left to right”, “Wrzutam na luz” and “Ay Amor”, which obtained the status of a gold album, as well as “I am na tak” awarded a triple platinum album. In June 2023, he won the hearts of listeners with the dance song “Let’s run away”, which already has over 1.5 million views on You Tube. This is an announcement of the 38-year-old’s new material, which is to be a combination of his entire artistic legacy.
