On November 17, 2023, the long-awaited prequel “The Ballad of Birds and Snakes” directed by Francis Lawrence will premiere. The film will take viewers 64 years back to the events known from the original. The plot will focus on the character of Coriolanus Snow, who will be only 18 years old when the action begins. Despite his young age, he will be determined to become a mentor and thus one of the Hunger Games competitors will come under his wing. However, fate will not be in his favor and he will encounter many difficulties on his way. Will he cope with them and achieve his goal? We will find out about this soon.
Work on the set of the latest series lasted from July 11 to November 5, 2022. When the trailers were released online, astute viewers almost immediately noticed that some of the places shown on the screen were extremely familiar to them. And they weren’t wrong.
