BeMy is a Polish-French music band founded by brothers Mattia and Eli Rosinski. The artists gained popularity in 2013 when they took part in the sixth edition of the “Must Be the Music. Only music” program and took second place in the final.

The musicians’ careers were developing well. The band won the jury’s award during the TOPtrendy 2014 festival, then conquered Jarocin and played on the big stage of the Woodstock festival. In 2016, the artists released their debut album “Grizzlin'”, which was nominated for the Fryderyk Awards. Currently, BeMy is developing its TikTok channel.
The musicians took advantage of the fact that they were born in Bordeaux, but are known to the Polish audience. On TikTok, they present, among other things, what Polish hits would sound like in a French version. The artists’ profile includes, for example, a remake of “BFF” by Young Leosi or “Od Nowa” by Kwiat Jabłoni.
“There are no bad songs, only bad performances”
The members of BeMy also proved that the hit can sound very subtle and romantic in an acoustic, French version. The duo presented a completely new version of the song “Przez twe Oczy Zielone” by Akcent on TikTok. The remake is so different from the original that it is difficult to recognize it as Zenek Martyniuk’s hit.
The creators managed to surprise the viewers. “Now I’m going to listen to this”, “the only acceptable version”, “sounds great” – read the comments under the recording. “Another example that there are no bad songs, only bad performances,” summed up one of BeMy’s fans. The artists also asked for suggestions for further songs to be reworked. The suggestions included, among others, song titles by Sanah, Dawid Podsiadło and the band Strachy na Lachy.
