Mexican soap actress, Victoria Ruffo, is facing a new challenge in her personal and professional life. Her husband, the politician Omar Fayad, has been appointed Mexico’s ambassador to Norway, a country with a culture and climate very different from his own. What will this change mean for a couple who have been married for 22 years?

“I’m with a lawyer,” Victoria Ruffo answered the rumors of a divorce after 22 years of marriage: What was the romance like between the actress and Omar Fayad?

Just a few days ago, the 61-year-old actress denied the divorce rumors circulating in the media and social networks. In an interview for Telemundo’s “La Mesa Caliente” program, she stated that she and her husband are doing well and that they do not plan to separate.

“There were several times that (rumors) went public and that we got divorced, and the truth is that we just laugh, because even the day it happens, well, obviously it will happen and that’s it, if it happens. My husband says that he is not getting a divorce because he will not change the devil to live the same hell”, she stated in that space.

Is Victoria Ruffo moving to Norway?

Now the soap star and her husband will have to face the physical distance that Fayad, who was governor of the state of Hidalgo, entails in his new diplomatic position.
